• Hi all,

I don’t get a notification e-mail when someone posts a comment in one of my blogs.

Must have something to do with the options I selected:
On the Settings > Discussion page

    • In the Other comment settings I have selected Comment author must fill out name and e-mail and Users must be registered and logged in to comment
    • I have both options selected in this section: E-mail me whenever
    • And none of the options selected in this section: Before a comment appears

Is there a bug that no e-mail notification is send to the blog owner when this “combination of selections” is set?

    Thx
    Josch

    Hi Nasir,

thanks, I tried it with the plugin. As I didn’t manage to configure SMTP correctly, I tried to send a test e-mail with PHP option. It worked.

As I’m receiving all other mails (user registration, new post…), I think the wp_mail() function is working properly.
