    Hello,

Can you please advise me on how to deal with this problem I have?

I’ve found several huge (200 mb) error_log files on the site folders: public_html, phpmyadmin and wp-admin.

Can I delete them all? Why are they growing so big? Are there any settings I can make so the logs will self-limit in size?

    Thanks for the help,
    Adrian

  • You can delete them but they will probably re-appear. When they do, I suggest you download & examine theme to try and find out where these errors are.

    Thank you, esmi!

Just did that now, the one in phpmyadmin is filled with warnings:

[14-Jan-2012 23:17:01] PHP Warning: PHP Startup: Unable to load dynamic library ‘/usr/local/lib/php/extensions/no-debug-non-zts-20090626/imagick.so’ – /usr/local/lib/php/extensions/no-debug-non-zts-20090626/imagick.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory in Unknown on line 0

Is there any way I can limit the size of these files?

    Many thanks for the help!

You need to contact your hosts about that one. Just make sure to include a copy of one of those messages.
