[Plugin: WordPress Importer] Clean install, no plugs yet – Importer not working

    a small file 164KB to import. Memory Limit is 128M.
    Keep getting the failed message [not able to allocate etc.etc.]

    Did an import yesterday on another domain, also a clean install, no plugs yet [except of course the included Askimet but not enabled yet either]
    smae file size was imported without a hitch.

    Today I worked on that new domain, and tried already several times.
    Cleared every cache possible, incl. browser etc. too – still same – cannot import 🙁

    My problem starts on the export function. I am only able to export categories. No data for posts. :-((( What’s wrong?? Where to start?
