Is there supposed to be a dashboard theme?

    I suppose I am used to using wordpress.com, where when you log into your dashboard it is really nicely laid out and easy to navigate with the default theme. But now that I have loaded a copy of wordpress onto my own hosting there doesn’t really seem to be a dashboard as such, just a basic html page which looks really difficult to navigate around – is this supposed to be the case or am I expecting too much?

    I don’t think I have a good answer for why you don’t have a dashboard, but I can tell you that there should be one and that it should look pretty much like the one at wordpress.com.

    I see from your old post that you had install problems, so maybe hitting ctrl-f5 for a full refresh could be worth a try. I doubt it does much, but sometimes browsers cache the oddest things…
