  • When I turn on the ‘highlight results’ setting in the ‘search everything’ plugin, I’ve noticed that the span tags used to highlight the results are placed within the HTML code, if that code contains a searchterm. For example if you are used to place the title of a post/page within the title attribute of a link tag and that title attribute contains a search term (a href=”…” title=”searchterm”), the (search everything highlight) span tag is placed within the title tag. You get something like this in the title attribute of the link tag: title=”<span class=” search-everything-highlight-color”=”” style=”background-color: rgb(224, 224, 215);”
The HTML code on your page is broken and the page doesn’t display correct anymore…
Somebody has a solution for this problem?
