Error establishing database connection but everything else on host is working???
-
I have been running my WordPress blog for about 3-4 months now and haven’t had any problems until today. I checked my blog a few hours ago and it was fine. The next moment I go to check it, I get the Error establishing database connection. I have checked my old pages on the website (javajabbers.com) and I am able to pull up media on the site. I am also able to sign into my FTP with no problem. What in the world could be causing this problem? The only thing different in my checking the website this morning was that I was using my Dell Axim to do so, but it is running off the same wireless connection as my laptop, and the logs show the same IP address tried to access. I see the server code 200, which should mean everything is fine, but obviously something is amiss. I can’t seem to find where anything changed, and it looks like the server is up, so what kind of thing could trigger this? Is it possible for a server to only partially be down? I mean, even my wp-uploads are showing up individually…I’m totally stumped!!!
