[Plugin: Basic Google Maps Placemarks] Create Navigation from Category List

I’d like to add a navigation bar below the map to allow users to view a list of placemarks based on category selected.

Is there a shortcode to achieve this or do I need to set it up manually?

I am curious about how i could setup the list by category based of a URL passed variable for category. for example, i have a listing of churches, categorized by which part of the city they are in. I’d like to list out the regions of the city as links, and that go to a page that lists all in that category. I see how to setup the list by category, but how can I set that up by what would be a selected variable by the user?
