• I installed the plugin a couple days ago, but didn’t have a chance to test it. Today, I loaded the page I put the Front End Upload plugin on, and got an error saying I didn’t have Flash et al. I’m using Chrome, so Flash support is native. Then I noticed that an update to Front End Upload was available, so I updated to see if that would solve the problem, and it did, sort of. The error message has changed. The new message says:

“there is a conflict with the active theme or one of the active plugins. Please view your console to determine the issue”.

On checking the Javascript console, the error reported reads:

Uncaught TypeError: Object [object Object] has no method 'autocomplete'

I don’t actually know how to write JavaScript, but I can read it well enough to find something if I’m told what to look for, so if you could help me figure out what the problem is I’ll be happy to try to follow instructions to fix it.

That’s due to a conflict with your active theme or another active plugin. Try deactivating all plugins and switching to TwentyEleven and the reactivating each one by one until the error is triggered again, that will be the problematic plugin.
