[Plugin: WP Category Post List Widget] Excerpt word count / thumbnail problems

    Hi

    Thanks for your hard work! It is a great plug-in.

    I am using the following shortcode for this website http://www.freddysmile.co.uk

    [wp_cpl_sc cat_id=1 list_num=25 css_theme=3 show_excerpt=”true” excerpt_length=350 is_thumb=”true” show_comments=”false” sort_order=”desc”]

    I have no thumbnails showing ( I have installed and used the Regen Thumnails plugin a couple of times), also the word count for the excerpts is not responding and as you wil see they are all different.

    Not sure what I have got wrong, very much hope you can advise.

    First, the excerpt length is the character count not the word count.
    And secondly, I was checking your posts. They do not have any featured image set. That is the reason why thumbnails are not coming.

    Many thanks for your quick reply, the image bit makes sense, great. However my apologies I meant char count!! That bit still puzzles me as when you look at the page

    you see that the excerpts all get cut off at different lengths, for the second post it cuts off at just 16 chars. Sorry to come back but I can’t work out a solution.
