Kothinti,
You linked to content that is available for members only. It is showing an excerpt so non-members have an idea of what is available.
You should see the full formatting when logged in. You can also control this more by adding a specific excerpt via the excerpt field int he post editor.
That said, I can look into why the excerpt isn’t being filtered.
Hi Thanks for your prompt response. Yes I understand the functionality. My only concern is about formatting. It has removed all the paragraph <p> tags from the excerpt. When I deactivate the plugin… the format works fine. Please look into that issue.
Many thanks
Ashok

Ok, I found a solution. Thank you.
Some more information on this problem in case others look in here.
When PMPro builds an excerpt to show non members, it first looks for an “official” excerpt from WordPress. This is if you use the more tag or the excerpt field in the editor.
If you do, PMPro will show that.
If there is no excerpt, PMPro will strip out tags and short codes and filter the excerpt to 55 words (or whatever you set the excerpt_length too). We strip out the formatting and short codes because they can interfere with calculating the excerpt length (i.e. you’ll get 55 words of html tags instead of text) and because cutting the excerpt in the middle of a tag could result in poor or broken formatting on your site.
In summary, if you want formatting in your excerpts, specify one using the more tag or in the excerpt field of the editor.
If you can’t do that, there are some plugins for making “nicer excerpts” and the like that will probably play nice with Paid Memberships Pro.
Hi Everyone, especially kothinti,
What solution did you find may be its more easy to implement to enable formatting.
Thanks in advance.
