• I’m using WordPress 3.3.2.

Everything was working fine, then I tried to upload a fairly large image via the Media Uploader and received a HTTP Error. I navigated away from the page, not realizing it would cause further problems, so I don’t have the exact error – but from memory that was pretty much all it said.

Now when I go to edit a page or post (anything that runs from post.php I think) or the media section, it fails to load any actual content. Here’s a screenshot. It also fails to load the admin bar at the top, the Screen Options and Help options don’t work, the WYSIWYG is missing, and the flyout menus don’t work.

I really have no idea how to debug this. Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

  • Try:
    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme by renaming your current theme’s folder inside wp-content/themes and adding “-old” to the end of the folder name using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder – from a fresh download of WordPress.
