wordpress image gallery – integrating tumbkr, tagging.. etc

    how come there isnt any good image gallery that allows individuals photos be be commented on, tagged, or shared (in other sites like tumblr ‘like/reblog’ option)?
    ive been looking all over but i cant find anything -_-

    Possibly because sharing photos between unconnected sites is basically downloading and re-uploading. There are some like plugins out there, and anyone can turn commenting on for images.
