• Hi all, sorry I have searched the topic and found a few things that have tried to answer the question I have, but none have actually helped me solve the problem, so I hope you can help.

Ok, so I’m new to this and have no experience with coding and the like, so have uploaded WordPress to a webhost and I want to have it so any posts with a particular category show up in pages of the same name which I have along the top of the site.

I know that if you make a post with a category, wordpress does something similar automatically, but I want it so where I make a page, I can highlight a post in a particular category, say “politics” and the post will not only show up in the main feed on the home page, but also go to the politics page I’ve created.

    Hope you guys can help.

    Cheers

  • If I understand correctly, you want to make the category archive show up on a particular page, which is part of your navigation, correct?

You can use the query_posts to do this.
However, what I ended up doing was using a simple re-direct with a plug-in. I made the page and redirected it to the category archive.
