If you have set your slide dimensions to higher than 200px and some of the images are cropped to 200px, this is probably because they were uploaded before you set the current dimensions, try re-uploading the images.

There is a bug in 1.5 with slideshows that only have one slide. Add more than one slide to fix this, or grab the master of 1.5.1 from Github, which has a fix for this.

    Hello –
My slideshow is still limited to a height of 200. I’ve uploaded/changed setting and reuploaded/deleted the plugin, reinstalled and reuploaded, no luck.

Any ideas why my images are cropped to 200px height?

    My website is http://www.impactures.org.

    Help! Thanks in advance.

Just to clarify, you re-uploaded the plugin, or the slide images?

    Hello JLeuze,

I apologize for the double post. This thread seemed more appropriate (because it had the same 200px height problem), so I posted hear after the first attempt.

I had switched to another silder, but that one has fewer options in settings, and in general wasn’t as user friendly, so I thought I’d give meteor another shot.

The images that were in there formerly were already in there as slides, but I didn’t use them. Nor did I use the same images as I had previously (even though they were 450×300). I used completely new images (I had shifted the text in the images, so it was purely on accident), and now Meteor is acting appropriately.

I still don’t know why the trouble the first go around. I had completely uninstalled Meteor, reinstalled, trashed the slides that were in there, and recreated slides with 450×300 images, but it insisted on a 200px height.

If it’s helpful to you – for troubleshooting purposes – I’m happy to create a slider with the old images (450×300 already in my media library in wordpress), so you can test the 200px heights problem, but for my purposes, my problem is resolved.

Sorry for the flag, and the double flag. It was a bit frustrating last night, but I’m happy to report it’s golden now!

Thank you for the awesomely quick response.

    Have a great day,
    Hans

No problem at all Hans, I’m glad you got it working. If this issue comes up again let me know and I can dig into it deeper.
