Category images css help

I’m a bit stumped with this problem. I have the categories plugin installed and working fine, I’m just having a problem with the css.

I have added a class to the category images, but some of the css still seems to override the specific image class styling. It’s adding bottom-margin’s and borders to the category images & I can’t figure out why.
