• Hi!

I’m desperately looking for a way to create base-relative images-URIs. I’ve already read ‘some’ threads and arguments about this issue in the past, but I couldn’t find any practical solution 🙁

In my special case, the problem with absolute image-URIs is caused because /wp-admin is accessible only via ‘https’ for security reasons, but the main blog-site is not (-> http).
Because new blog entrys are written under ‘https’ all the image-links are hard-pointing to the https-version. That’s realy a pain in the ass:-(

Is there realy no clean way to avoid the absolute image-urls?

    Thanks
    Mark
