[Plugin: SimpleModal Login] Not working with 3.3.2?

I have installed SimpleModal on my web server running the latest version of WordPress, and I have just added the simple

<?php wp_loginout(); ?>

to my theme. Every time I click it though it just redirects me to my login page instead of having the form pop up in a modal box.

Is anybody else having this problem? Is it because the plugin is incompatible with the latest version of WordPress, or am I doing something wrong?

Are you running JetPack? I ran into issues with JetPack (possibly the quantserve tracking pixel) colliding with SimpleModal.

I’m not using Jetpack or any other plugins that I believe would be affecting it.

Hi all,

I have a fresh install of WP 3.3.2 with my plugins and sample data at http://demo.ericmmartin.com. I can’t seem to recreate the issue.

Can someone provide a link to their site? What theme are you using, etc.?

ThemeMyLogin now takes over completely. If TML is not active you get your pluign, but it looks different.

For security purposes, I remove the wp-login.php file, which is a dead give away the site is WordPress. Can the plugin work without the wp-login.php file?

I have TML installed on other sites, and all works perfectly, do not know why this does not consistently work.

I’m having the same issue. The plugin is sort of working, but no ajax, no pretty form. Just goes to the WP login page. Javascripts are all loading in the footer.

I’m using a semi-customized version of “The Bootstrap” theme, WP 3.5

Nevermind. It’s suddenly working – must have been a caching issue.
