align=justify cannot be applied

    Hi.
    I am trying to justify text in my front page (not with css, I am not a developer).I am going in the box that my theme provides for the frontpage and here is what I am doing:

    <html>
    <body>

    <div align=”justify”>

    My site text ……………….

    </div>

    </body>
    </html>

    Save and then refresh page but nothing happens. Same when I choose align left. Any ideas?
