Limit number of tags in Cat Cloud 0.2.2?

    I just downloaded and installed Cat Cloud 0.2.2 from:

    I have since realized that there does not seem to be an easy way to limit the number of tags (categories) included in the cloud. One would think a simple catcloud(5) call would limit the number of tags to five, but the function apparently is not setup that way. While it’s not a problem yet as I only have a few tags, displaying all the tags in the sidebar might get a bit bulky. Can anyone suggest an easy/quick fix on how to limit the number of tags in this script? Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks.

    I’m not the author of the plugin but from what I see of the code, yes, you’re correct: it doesn’t have provision for a “partial” listing. You should contact the author for help as there a number of changes required to get it to do what you want.

    Although I’m not sure under what circumstances anyone would want only SOME of the categories. Presumably you want something like “top 5” instead of “all”.
