• Hi,

My Wp-admin log in page just went blank for no apparent reason.

I have looked and tried the older solutions to no avail. Even worse, before i started fixing, it was just that page that was blank…now my whole site is out!

    Heres what I did

I checked for white space atr the bottom of functions.php, wp-config.php, and some others I was suggested to check.

    No good.

Then I was adviced to download fresh WP and upload new WP Admin and WP includes folders.

    This killed the whole site.

    Please help!

  • What version of WordPress did you upload?

    3.3.2

Ah…maybe my site was not up to date with that version.

    What should I do?

I have downloaded the previous version of these 2 folders from another of my blogs and am uploading them over the other folders

Is there anything I need to edit inside them?

    Thread Starter barryrodgers

    (@barryrodgers)

    Nope…everything still blank

Try checking your server’s error logs for clues.

    Hmmm…

Just did that and there are no errors listed.

Check again. I can see a whole shedload of errors relating to the url-shortener plugin on your site.

Yes I just had the hosting support look into it and this is what they found.

So what can I do please?

I deleted that plug in and now I have This :

Notice: wp_enqueue_style was called incorrectly. Scripts and styles should not be registered or enqueued until the wp_enqueue_scripts, admin_enqueue_scripts, or init hooks. Please see Debugging in WordPress for more information. (This message was added in version 3.3.) in /home/barryrod/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 3587

Anyone advise how I can fix this pleas?

Rename the /wp-content/themes/multiplestream3-wp3.0 folder to activate the default theme.

    Thread Starter barryrodgers

    (@barryrodgers)

Thanks, Esmi, but what should I rename it to?

    Thread Starter barryrodgers

    (@barryrodgers)

This is confusing…it is not written in proper English. The sentence does not make sense.

Scripts and styles should not be registered or enqueued until the wp_enqueue_scripts, admin_enqueue_scripts, or init hooks.

what should I rename it to

    Try multiplestream3-wp3.0-old

    Thread Starter barryrodgers

    (@barryrodgers)

Aha! That seems to have worked in as much as it has removed that error.

Now I just have these two issues in the functions php file:

Notice: wp_enqueue_style was called incorrectly. Scripts and styles should not be registered or enqueued until the wp_enqueue_scripts, admin_enqueue_scripts, or init hooks. Please see Debugging in WordPress for more information. (This message was added in version 3.3.) in /home/barryrod/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 3587

Also, I am getting a blank page when I go to WP installations which are on subdomains from this domain. Idf the main domain gets fixed, will they automatically come back online too?

    Thread Starter barryrodgers

    (@barryrodgers)

OK, looking at another thread I added

    $wp_scripts = new WP_Scripts();

Just before call “wp_deregister_script, wp_register_script, wp_enqueue_script” in the functions_wp_scripts.php file.

Now I am just getting this error:

Notice: wp_enqueue_style was called incorrectly. Scripts and styles should not be registered or enqueued until the wp_enqueue_scripts, admin_enqueue_scripts, or init hooks. Please see Debugging in WordPress for more information. (This message was added in version 3.3.) in /home/barryrod/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 3587

    Now I am stuck 🙁
