• I’m wondering if it’s possible to create a “top page” above my blog. Something that’s static, but can be updated easily. But leave the blog to update below it. Does that make sense? Is that possible?

  • I’m not sure I understand what you mean by top page, your description is a little confusing. It’s static but the blog updates it? Isn’t that a little bit contradictory?

Sorry, poor description. I’d like to have a block at the top of my blog that works like an introduction. It’s always there, and is static. Then I’d like the blog to start directly below that. Does that make more sense?

try editing your header.php, you can use simple html

I thought of that, but was thinking it’d be nice to have a plugin that would do that job. Maybe what I’m asking for doesn’t exist though. Any other ideas?

johnny – you can code it in there just as easily as you can find, download, upload, activate, and place the code for the plugin you seek. either way, you’re still going to have to place code in there, so why not set it up exactly how you want?
