• I was just looking at the Hey Cookie demo page (http://heycookie-demo.calobeedoodles.com/) in IE9 and noticed that the thumbnail images in the grid do not link to anything. In Chrome they work fine. Can someone else with IE9 verify this? It seems like a massive bug so I’m surprised I’m the first to report it, unless it happened because of the recent WP upgrade.

  • It’s a known bug I haven’t been able to (or had time to) squash. See here: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/theme-hey-cookie-dont-see-posts?replies=25

Thanks, when I did a search for this problem the thread you posted did not show up for some reason. If it helps, the theme you’re using on your sixhours.net site appears to be HeyCookie or some variation and the links on that page work fine for me in IE9. So hopefully this won’t be a difficult fix. Unfortunately a lot of people use IE as their default browser so I think its important for a theme to work in it.

Sixhours.net uses a child theme of Lazy Sunday… the thumbnails don’t have a second div layered on top, which is the complicating factor.

I agree, it’s important for it to work in IE9. It will get fixed eventually. Anyone is welcome to take a look at the code and offer suggestions in the meantime.
