• In another post I explained how I finally got an iCloud iCal feed to show up in the AIOEC’s settings page.

The simple solution is to switch out ‘webcal’ to ‘https’ and viola – it can now “see” the feed.

    There’s a couple of other problems though…

    1. The feed does not show up in the calendar on the website. To clarify, it actually did show up, but now it does not. calendar page
    2. When it originally did show up, the times were off by an hour (early).
    3. All day events showed up on the day before.
    4. Multi day events showed up as only one day and on the day before the event was to start.

Hopefully this will all get resolved in the next version, that has been slated for release today.

If not, what is the secret to fixing these 4 issues? Anyone? Bueller? Bueller?

p.s. – The events that are currently there are hard edited in, not from the feed (unless you see duplicates).

Ok, figured out that for some reason two of the entries in the feed were just not going to show up on the calendar. Deleted them, reinput with the same information – they now show up. Not sure why, but hey that’s a plus.

Still have the problem that the calendar is not showing the correct time based on the time zone of the event. Currently an hour off. Blog is based on pacific time. Event is in mountain time due to being in another part of the country. How can this be solved.

Full day events are still showing up on the day before, and multiday events are showing up a day early and on only one day…

    Anyone else solve this issue?

Here’s another issue I found last night. Now that the feed can be seen on the website (despite the issues of the wrong time and full day issues) there is a problem with subscribing to a feed. It can’t be done. It says the feed is of the wrong type, so it won’t import. Hopefully that will be fixed in the next update.
