Plug In file not showing on activation page

    I have added the following file to the required area in my hosting files, but it does not show up in the activation area of my wordpress admin area. http://www.winsomegunningartwalk.com/wp-content/plugins/tla_44943.php-1.txt(Textlinks WordPress Code)Cod.txt

    Have tried different permissions but this does not seem to alter anything. The other plugin files entered in the same file area all show on the plugin activation page.

    The file appears to be in the same format as the other files that are able to be activated.

    I got a 404 on that link you have.

    What about file encodings? I know that PHP doesn’t seem to like UTF-8 files with a BOM, and that may cause WordPress to dis-regard it. (Just taking wild guesses here.)

    Are you suggesting the coding could be incompatible with WordPress.
