• Hi,

Within the multisite I have a specific issue on one site with the display of users on the users list. There must be 3 users assigned to the site, although the users listing says 3 items (in the top right above) the list is empty.
When I check the users on network level the users are visible in the list.
If I want to add a new user, the rule option setting is not working on this site.
This issue does not appear on the other sites within the network.

I deactivated all plugins and changed to the default wp template. But none of these changes made the issue disappear.

Are you adding these users on the subsite in question or via the Network Admin?

I added them in the subsite and the users are only displayed in the network admin user list.

Go to the SUBsite’s wp-admin/users.php page

Can you add them from there? I think I wasn’t very clear πŸ™‚

Yes I can add them but the user is not displayed in the list of the subsite.
Only in the network admin user list.
And I cannot select a role for the user when adding in the subsite.

Are you using any role management plugins?

    No role plugins.

    What plugins ARE you using?

Have you tried turning them off?

    Thread Starter jawes

    (@jawes)

Yes I already mentioned it in my first post.

Which ones are you using then? (Yes, it sometimes still matters, as some can cause DB issues).

Also did you make sure to turn off any mu-plugins?

Hi, here is the list of all plugins … thanks.
    I don’t have mu-plugins installed.

    Wow.

Are they are off on all sites? And if so, can you try renaming the folder to plugins-old to FORCE them to be off?

    Thread Starter jawes

    (@jawes)

Okay I will try that and let you know.

    Hi,

I tried your procedure but it did not help. So then it cannot be triggered by a plugin?

It’s unlikely to be a plugin, yes.

Can you switch to a default theme?

And is this happening on ALL subsites or just one?

    Thread Starter jawes

    (@jawes)

I already did apply the default WP theme and also no improvement.
It only happens on one site.
