• Hello Mvied,

Thank you for the wonderful plugin!

I am running a WP E commerce site, have a QuickSSL cert from my hosting provider, Fatcow, and had everything configured by Roy Ho.

I am not sure when, but recently when I tested the check out, it would bounce between encrypted (no favicon, with the blue bar and site address), to no blue bar with the message “website is partially encrypted, does not prevent eavesdropping.

On Chrome and Safari, it seems to be fine. It seems to be only Firefox that jumps between the secure encrypted blue bar and no blue bar with “partially encrypted” message.

I then read your faq on the matter, as well as browsed the forum. Which lead me to Chrome, and using the dev tool. In my console the two errors I’d get were not the “insecure content” message from http lines.

My site is http://www.stitchandbloom.com, and the error from console is:

Resource interpreted as Image but transferred with MIME type text/html: “https://maps.googleapis.com/maps/gen_204?ev=api_ads&cad=src:apiv3,ads:0”.

I do remember you saying in the faq that google maps cannot be secured unless you pay for it. However, I am not using google maps, it is just a function from the theme.

Can you be kind and lead me to the next step?

    Thank you!

    [don’t bump]
