  • How about the
    <!--more-->
    tag?

    Thanks for the reply Samboll;

    I am not technical, would you mind give more details please.

    Or the <!--nextpage--> ?

    You insert those “tags’ exactly as you see them here into your post where you want to break the text.

    What samboll posted will display a “read more…” clickable link.

    The nextpage will break your posts into “pages” and displaying lniks like:
    Pages 1, 2, 3

    i am sorry, i’m just new hear and would like to ask that question about : split post.

    Couldn’t figure this out and there is no very specific explanation how this works.

    Meaning if you insert, example in the html, <!–more–> or <!–nextpage–> then when you view the site, if would show something like more? but when you click on it, from mine, it goes to page not found error, likewise for the next page.

    I saw that posting takes 9 mths b4 a request is answered? am i wrong to understand that the question was posted 9 mths ago and another 9 months for the reply? or the question and reply took place 9 months ago from date of my logon? just wanna be clarified?

    tks. i loved the way wordpress works, but seems that docs is not as detailed as i expected.

    help? (sorry, if i have remarked something offensive. my apology. tks again.)
