• Hey guys!

For some reason, the native Twitter widgets won’t embed properly anymore. I am noticing this problem on both http://www.vollmer.nl and allesruiktnaarchocola.nl even though both use different wordpress versions.

deactivating all the plugins makes no difference. It’s not theme related either. I’m guessing something’s wrong with an API, but have no clue where to go and get help.

    Maybe here?

  • There are no native Twitter widgets in WordPress.

I mean the native twitter widget i.e. the code produced by twitter, which you can get from their own site..

Ah! Have you tried using a twitter plugin? If it’s for a single account feed, I’ve got a really lightweight Twitter plugin that uses Twitter’s own feed. Last I checked, that was working fine.

thanks for the effort, but that’s not an explanation, let alone a real solution.

I have something similar lightweight like that. But the twitter profile badge embedding doesn’t work. I want to use that. It’s far superior designwise.

Then try contacting Twitter. It’s not really a WordPress issue.

I have. But it’s pot and kettle: it appears to be both a wordpress and a twitter issue: something’s wrong with either the sending of an API, or the receiving of the API.
