    I’m trying to switch my site from running powered by phpBB to wordpress. we’d like to add news features and such, and move our forum functionality OUT of the main page to its own seprate domain. I can code what i need from scratch again, but i need somekind of pointers to do this.

    i need to duplicate the functionality of http://www.bostonpunk.org . integrating my code into wordpress, preferably as i GUESS a template or a plugin. whats the mos appropriate way to create say a ‘concert listings page’? how would i make a sidebar widget to list say todays concerts?

    It should be as easy as installing WP, find a theme or adapt your theme/css to interface with the css hooks in index.php and begin the redesign.

    im not talking about theme wise. i already have it installed, im talking about integrating new functionality into it. i think the way lazy gallery does it will probly be the way i guess…
