   I just did a brand new WP install through cPanel and everything went well.

   However I cannot view my theme. I get a WP page with no formatting. I believe this is because I have not activated the domain name yet. So WP is looking for it but cannot find. This proves out as the links on the page refer to my site URL which is not yet activated.

   My question: Where do I set the "livesite" name in WP? I'd like to change it to my temporary URL so I can test things out.

   Does this make sense? I am a WP newbie.

   If you can login to the admin pages, see what are the two URI values in Options > General.

   Yup! I figured that out myself..... So I made the changes and presto it works!

   I wonder what file those entries are saved in????

   Nothing is saved to files. All your content (posts, Pages, comments, and settings) is stored in the database.
