• Hi,

First post so go easy if this has been asked before, but I cannot find a relevent topic anywhere.

My WordPress blog is working fine, no problemo, but my problem is this –

My blog is located in a subdirectory (/blog/) of my main website. The other night, I decided to put a 301 redirect into a .htaccess file, (for redirection between www and non-www) and placed it into my main website’s root directory. This is working fine, as are all the other subdirectories, with one exception – the /blog/ subdirectory – which means that my blog is now not working. If I remove the new file, the blog works again.

So my question is – how do I get the blog to work with the new .htaccess file in my root directory?

    TIA

    Hang on – sorted it.

Its just been pointed out to me that WordPress has its own .htaccess file, so I just added the same redirect code (mysite.com/blog) into there.
