   I really like the layout of my site previously to adding wordpress...except for the frame... which is why I got wordpress.

   Anyhow this is the layout before... webmachiavelli.com/index3.html

   For some reason my navigation bar will not slide over in either direction. I would of course prefer to line it up with the sidebar.

   Any suggestions before I go tearing through the code anymore than I already have.

   Yes I know it isn't exactly XHTML compliant but that wasn't really my question. Some of the errors are related to how I had to "blog" before WordPress.

   xhtml compliancy makes css work more easily. try your best to minimize the # of errors (95? currently) and possibly whatever css you have will work all of a sudden. If you are very desperate, try putting another div around the navbar and absolutely positioning it.

   You're best thinking broke your blog. Time to listen to someone else, I think.
