[Plugin: Quotes Collection] Multiple widgets break site

Hello all,
I’m having a problem with Quotes Collection 1.5.5.1. On the main page, I have two separate quotes widgets (using different tags, both with ajax refresh). This means that the quotes showing up in the widgets should not overlap.

One of these is instantiated in the sidebar as a widget, and one is instantiated in the template as a template function. I looked at Firebug and the code is fetching two different quotes with the Ajax calls (I’m guessing destined for the two different locations), but they both update the same element after a couple of rounds of correct operation. From then on one element is static and the other is double-updated.
