How do I change the Theme language, but keep the Admin in another language?

    I want to change the theme language to Russian, but keep the admin where I log in as English.

    How do I do this? I want to change it on one of the 2 themes that it comes with when I installed wordpress, so it is not a fancy theme.

    Do not edit the Twenty Eleven theme. It is the default WordPress theme and having access to an unedited version of the theme is vital when dealing with a range of site issues. First create a child theme for your changes. Or create a new, renamed, copy of the Twenty Eleven theme.Since you want to keep WP core in English, you’ll need to manually edit every template file in the theme to change the displayed English to Russian. Even then, some phrases that are from WP core may remain in English.
