I began using a widget supporting theme under WP 2.0.2 with no problems. Just upgraded to WP 2.0.3. The widgets are now frozen. I can't move any new ones in or remove any. Just above the widgets my sidebar is using, there is a text box I've not seen before:
"Default Sidebar
Your theme will display its usual sidebar when this box is empty. Dragging widgets into this box will replace the usual sidebar with your customized sidebar."
But nothing can be dragged in or out. Anyone familar with this and what the problem is?
Thanks, Garrett
Make sure the scriptaculous directory (that comes with Sidebar Widgets) is in wp-includes/js/scriptaculous?

I have the same issue as the original poster - can't get the widgets to move in presentation -> sidebar widdgets. For fun I turned them all "on" by dragging them to the sidebar.
I assume to turn them off you drag and drop to Available Widgets window? There is no other "on/off" toggle.
I do have the scriptaculous libraries in both locations plugins and includes.

I realized I don't have the exact same issue. My issue is in the admin section, where I can drag/drop to reorder the widgets but just not remove any.

Ok...I didn't do anything but keep trying and I found one thing that worked. The far LEFT SIDE of the Available Widgets window apparently is "active" when the window is empty. I was dragging the widget around and finally hit that "magic spot". It worked.
