   I am happy to announce we are very close to releasing our highly anticipated WordPress Translator Plugin version 2.0 beta. It is a massive rewrite which supports 2.0.x version (targeted) of WordPress along with 1.5.x (not much tested). I am looking for your help in testing this release. Currently we have it working on our test site; check the dynamic logo on top-left. All known bugs have been fixed.

   Background
   WordPress Automatic Machine Translator plugin has been very popular in wordpress community and is used on a large number of sites worldwide. It provides automatic machine translation for your blog in eight languages - Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, Japanese, Korean and Chinese.

   Please provide your feedback and suggestions as comments on my blog post to enable us to quickly act on it.

   BTW: Did I mention it is also widgetized?

   Looks fine to me, but the german translation is terrible and unable for serious work.

   Hmm. Was using Trevor Creech's (trevorcreech.com). Similar in may ways but he wasn't using curl. Will check this one out.

   Do you know of a better translation service for German?
   I use Google's.

   N/M, went to the site and downloaded the old one (I assume, as it wasn't a widget). Couldn't find any link to a widget version (2.0?).

   There are significant seo advantages in using mine over Trevor's for starters :)

   My interest was in the "widgetized" version... Maybe when I have more time I'll look through your site again, but I couldn't find any link to a widget version.

   Same issue here than Evita, the French translation is a laugh.
   It's not a reflection on your work at all of course. I downloaded and installed the plugin, but had to remove it right away as the translation is so poor.

   If will post here any other online translation services alteratives if I come across any, but so far no luck.

   Too bad :-(

    Unfortunately the google translations are really bad. Reverse test it and try to translate for example a French or German website into English.

    Systran http://www.systransoft.com/index.html may be a little better but to get reasonable translations you have to use premium versions - which are also not great.

    Angsuman’s Translator Plugin Pro For WordPress 2.x Blogs

    It is widgetized, caches translated pages, seo-optimized, uses nice url and lots more.
