Flattr activation for users leads to non-existent URL | WordPress.org

http://pub.mathaba.net/wp-admin/%3C?=get_bloginfo%28%27wpurl%27%29%20.%20%27/wp-admin/users.php?page=flattr/flattr.php?user%27;?%3E
shows in address bar when attempting to activate. Folder /htdocs/wp-content/plugins/flattr exists also flattr.php. No problem activating Flattr buttons on site from admin, buttons show. Only users cannot add themselves due to this bug.

Please can anyone give some advice? The activation of flattr button by users leads to this 404: http://pub.mathaba.net/wp-admin/%3C?=get_bloginfo%28%27wpurl%27%29%20.%20%27/wp-admin/users.php?page=flattr/flattr.php?user%27;?%3E

it is trying to add this to the URL:

<?=get_bloginfo(‘wpurl’) . ‘/wp-admin/users.php?page=flattr/flattr.php?user’;?>

but this is clear if clicking on the above link, which is where a user is taken to as soon as they try to activate their flattr button!

Can anyone answer this or help us trouble shoot? It’s been a month without any reply, the plugin should just work and it does not.

I have a hard time grasping what may cause a bug like this – the code looks correct and seems to be working for most and not fail as critically as in this case.

Could it be that you’re experiencing the same issue as reported in http://wordpress.org/support/topic/plugin-flattr-short-tags-cause-problems?replies=1 ? If so then it might be quite a big task to fix it everywhere but it would be something I would take a look out for the next bugfix release, which if I’m lucky I might be able to start on in two weeks time or so.
