Importing category's posts from primary domain to secondary domain

    Hi,

    I have two different domains with wordpress installed on both. I’m trying to import all posts from my ‘soccer’ category to the new (secondary) domain.

    How do I import JUST the posts in the soccer category? The themes are different on both wordpress installations.

    This isn’t a Multisite Question (Multisite is running multiple sites with one install). You’re running two separate domains.

    However the trick is to only EXPORT the soccer category.

    1. Create a new author called ‘export’

    2. Use the filtering ability of Administration > Posts > Edit to isolate all posts in that category, select all those posts, then use Bulk Action, Edit, to change the author to ‘export’ on those posts.

    3. Use Administration > Tools > Export and limit the exported posts to the ‘export’ author.
