How to make post go away after 2 days?

    I have a site, and use WordPress to update 2 sections of it. One section is for announcements that I would like to “go away” by a certain date and time. I use categories to distinguish between queried posts to one section or the other and use “uncategorized” to remove a post from all sections. How do I set a post to switch to another category on a certain time on a certain day?
