    i just got a mail from my site security plugin about a hack attempt on my site. what to do in this situation. can i feel relaxed or i need to do something more the message was

    This notice is to inform you that someone at IP address 31.184.242.194 tried to login to your site “Indiaonindia” and failed.

    The targeted username was admin

    The IP address has been blocked for 60minutes.

    This shouldn’t be anything to worry about – it sounds like the plugin you are using is ‘limit login attempts’ – I often see people trying to break into sites & in my experience they always try with the default username ‘admin’, so as long as your admin username is something other than ‘admin’, this kind of unsophisticated ‘brute force’ hack attempt will be nothing more than an annoyance.

    yes… my previous exp with username admin was really bad. so i used another name..thank god i am safe.. but how long dont know
