It sounds like you are posting comments as updates. An update would be a change to the posted content not making a comment to the post.

Not so. I go to pages, edit and then enter what I have to say, and publish. Maybe I do not understand your response?

I have found WordPress to be the most unfriendly site ever…I have questions and just keep getting sent every different direction. Just is not worth it.
it might help if you read the forum rules before signing up and posting questions.
