My two new WP blogs

    Thanks to BJ at KickAssWebDesign.com, I’m pleased to announce two new WP blogs… both dealing with technology news.

    MacMikeNews.com (http://www.macmikenews.com) deals exclusively with Apple and Mac computer news, tips and trends, including the iPod and Apple hardware and software.

    TechNewsJournal.com (http://www.technewsjournal.com) reports breaking tech news and commentary about computers, the Internet, gizmos, gadgets and digital devices.

    Stop by… look them over… give us your feedback. We have a third one coming in a week or so and will announce it here.

    All just my opinions:
    http://technewsjournal.com/ – Probably want to add a Home link to the menu bar. I went to about (which needs content) and was stranded there (well, I used back arrow). Perhaps at least make the blog title a link to Home like most blogs.

    Too many ads. The ads across the top below the header just look “goofy” with all the wasted white space around them. And the right block was throwing some very distorted graphics.

    That being said: I like the theme. I like the “feel” of it (aside from the ads comments).

    http://macmikenews.com/ Well, if a blog could have more ads than TNJ, this one does! BUT – the ads aren’t nearly as glaring or jarring. They actually work better with the theme.

    Theme is quite nice. I’m not a big baby blue fan, but the look and feel is nice.

    So what’s the 3rd one going to be about?

    I really like the Mac site. The theme is very professional looking. I’m not a fan of ads, but they weren’t too annoying.
    Will come back.

    As for the tech site – I thought it looked amateurish – sort of like a 1st attempt.

    Just my .02.
