Lightbox settings and content — at a complete loss

Hello,

I installed the lightbox 23 plugin for wordpress, and while I can change the settings in the admin panel, I a) have no idea where to put the code to activate the lightbox in the page and b) don’t know where to edit the content of the lightbox. I want those square images to be links to a lightbox that includes an enlarged image, some text and some html.
