    After upgrading to WP 2.0, my smilies don’t work unless I use the colon ‘:grin:’ around them. I use to be able to just type ‘:D’ and it would work, but no more. I’ve searched but cannot find the answer.

    I figured out the problem. I went to vars.php and noticed there was a space between the first at the beginning of the smilie code on a lot of them. ie: ” :D” I closed up the space between the first tick mark and now they work when I use ‘:D’
