I can add that when logged in to FB the page get’s adjusted well and whole the content is shown. Is this the way it should work, FB policy?? Or is something not right here?

Try the version 3.3 update to the plugin I just put out, which includes new resizing code.

Note that you must record the App ID for your fbtab posts in the plugin in order for this code to work properly.

For reveal tabs/gate tabs, you will have to obtain the app ID and record it on the Reveal Tab Setup screen. The utility then generates a url that has the app ID encoded in the query string.

Hello, I am having the same issue. I already record the AppID but is still the same. What else should I check?

    Thank you

Can you share the url of the FB tab you’re having trouble with? That would help me debug this.

    Sure, here is the link:

I can’t access the page tab at all because I keep getting an error message about the SSL certificate being invalid. You do need a valid SSL certificate to make this work, aside from whatever resizing issue you reported. Facebook seems to have tightened up its requirement for SSL to the point where it’s no longer possible to access a page tab by anything other than an https connection.

I’m having a similar issue, where the tab continues to roll down after all the text is finished.

    Can you help?

Nick, again the issue I’m seeing is I can’t access your content via https at https://www.reflexportland.com/fbtab/meet-the-doctors/ (either inside or outside of the tab context), which tells me you don’t have an SSL certificate properly setup for your site. I know it’s an extra hassle, but Facebook’s rules not mine.

If there’s another issue besides related to code resizing, I’m not seeing it because I can’t access your content on Facebook.

I now have the SSL working correctly. Can you take a peek and let me know why it isn’t resizing correctly?

    Thanks!

The resizing is working when I look at it. Tried Chrome, IE, and Firefox

The pages are much longer than what displays for me on Firefox and chrome (missing ~75% of the content). When I look at the FB tab it starts by resizing, but never stops. It just keeps getting longer and longer.

Just as an update, I turned off resizing as with it on the page just keeps getting longer and never stops. Currently both tabs are not displaying all content that I have on their pages. Ideas? Want me to turn on resizing to demonstrate the issue?

When I looked at the tabs the other day, they seemed to be resizing correctly. I haven’t seen the infinite resizing phenomenon you mentioned, so I don’t know how to debug it.

Are there any other variables I should be aware of? Mac vs. PC? Browsers up to date?

    Hi,

This is pretty weird. It looks to only happen when logged in to facebook and in my updated chrome browser. Otherwise, I do see that it is sizing correctly. I’m on a mac.

Hope this helps…but I feel better now that I see it is sizing properly for the majority of browsers.

Interesting… Do you see the same effect if you look at this tab on my demo page? https://www.facebook.com/TabManagerDemo/app_507270892647201
