Hello! Uncommon characters, both listed and unlisted in the “Custom Characters” list WYSIWYG button, are returning as question-marks. I noticed this issue was addressed 3 years ago, but before I go messing with the code, I’m wondering if the solution is valid? Have there been any UTF-8 charset improvements made for version 3.0+ since then?

I’m on a shared hosting plan:

    Apache version 2.2.20
    PHP version 5.2.17
    MySQL version 5.0.95-community
    cPanel Version 11.30.6 (build 6)

I used Fantastico De Luxe to install WordPress.
    The character is a Schwa (an upside-down ‘e’) ǝ
