    Hi there,

Thanks for this plugin firstly, its well designed. I’m just wondering whether you could set it remember if the visitor has visited the website.

i.e. the first time the visitor visits they get greeted by the slide-box but further visits throughout the site the slidebox doesn’t intrude again. perhaps after a timeout of a certain time before it re-appears for example 30 minutes.

    Is this possible?

    Thanks,
    GT

I too would like to know how to do this. I’m thinking about making a cookie that the plugin gives to the user the first time they visit the site.

If the plugin detects the cookie, I would not popup. If it does, it will popup. That way it only appears on the first visit.

    You could use a cookie…check out http://wptheming.com/2011/04/set-a-cookie-in-wordpress/

once you have it set up you can use the conditional(in the bottom part of the tutorial) to set the shown/hidden option (the name of the variable is show_on_load)
