Changing category for multiple posts at once

    So I am importing my articles from a Mambo server, but for some reason the are coming in as “uncategorized” I looked in the table wp_posts and they all have the correct post_category entry. Do I have to add them in the wp_post2cat table? Will be doing that manually cause any problems? Is there an easier way to change the category for 50 or so articles at a time?

    Search here (or google) for a plugin that will do it (it being mass/multiple category changes). One was discussed here a few months back that shouldn’t be too hard to turn up.

    That’s what I did and used to get them from mambo to WordPress. Like I said, every article has the correct post_category number, but it they are still showing as uncategorized.

    That’s quite odd. Are you saying that the corresponding rows aren’t in post2cat? Or that they are, but with the wrong cat id?

    they are not in post2cat
