    We are about to launch our site: temp.bellevilleks.org. Everything was working fine and then the home page stopped displaying the left hand widget area that fed in our All-In-One Event calendar. I have tried:
    • Changing the home panes, the home page doesn’t even seem to recognize this.
    • Un-installing the All-In-One Event Calendar and then re-installing it
    • Taking the left hand widget out of the widgets area and then putting it back in
    None of the above seem to be recognized by the home page any longer. If I change “reading” under the settings to “your latest posts” it shows these. But if I change it back to “Static Page”, no changes show.

    Can someone please help?

    Thanks in advance.

    Do you have any sort of caching plugins that might be interfering?

    It’s possible. How do I find out what caching plugins I might have? Clear my actual cache on my computer and then check, or is there a different/better way.

    Thanks,

    Edit the homepage and then go to “Page Attributes” on the right side. Select “Two columns, sidebar on the left” from the drop-down menu.

    You currently have the one-column template selected for this home page.

    Thanks for the response kjodle, but when I go to page attributes, I do have the two-column display chosen (not the one-column version). The home page just stopped recognizing any of it. I have switched it around from three columns, to two columns, to one column….the home page doesn’t change with any of the selections.

    Any ideas on that?

    Have you edited any of the theme’s core files? If so, try reinstalling the theme.

    This is the code for your home page <body> tag:

    <body class="home page page-id-2 page-template page-template-template-onecolumn-php custom-background one-column">

    Obviously, that shouldn’t be “one-column”. It’s possible that some sort of plugin conflict is preventing this page from taking a two-column layout. If nothing else, create a new page, copy and paste text from your current home page into the new page, and use the new page for your static home page.

    You can also ask for help at the official Graphene help forum:
