Problem changing to Multisite – Windows 7 – BitNami

    I have WordPress installed locally using BitNami for which I had to input Port: 8080 for it to install. Now have a problem when trying to change to Multisite.

    I’ve changed the config.php to allow multisite and get the ‘Network Setup’ and Tools but when I click on it I get the following screen ..

    Create a Network of WordPress Sites:
    ERROR: You cannot install a network of sites with your server address.
    You cannot use port numbers such as :8080.

    Does this mean I cannot us BitNami as I’ve read elsewhere that WordPress Multisite needs Port 80 but that won’t work with BitNami.

    I haven’t used Bitnami before, but maybe it’s possible to change the web server’s port in a configuration setting somewhere?
